Meredith Acres – Orange

I specialize in selling Meredith homes and I also live in Meredith Acres.  It is centrally located off of Santiago and Taft on the border of Villa Park.  They were built in 1964 & 1965 by builder Eddie Meredith.  He was originally from the east coast and when he came to Orange County he wanted to build homes like the ones on the East coast.  They are constructed of lathe and plaster and are built with spacious hallways, bedrooms and living areas .  His trade mark is the tri-level home . 

The homes range from 3-5 bedrooms. The homes in this tract are made up of the following:

*Tri-level 3 bedroom (all bedrooms up) approx.  2,460 sq. ft.

*Tri-level 4 bedroom (all bedrooms up) approx. 2721 sq. ft.

*Tri-level 5 bedroom (one bedroom downstairs) approx. 2800 sq. ft.

*Traditional 2 story 4 or 5 bedroom (one bedroom  downstairs approx.3000 sq. ft.

*Galleria tri-level 4 bedroom (one bedroom downstairs) approx. 3235 sq. ft.

Lot sizes on average are 8,000 sq. ft. but they do range up to 13,000 sq, ft.  All of the homes have both a living room & family room, 3 bathrooms, formal dining room and breakfast nook eating area in the kitchen. They all have a fireplace in the family room with the exception of the Galleria which has the fireplace in the living room.

The homes which are south of Taft were built in 1964 and the homes north of Taft were built in 1965.
